In addition to standard amenities, the building has a half-court indoor basketball court, a virtual golf simulator, a screening room with recliners, a banquet room and two swimming pools. A second-story deck will overlook Market Square Park and have palm trees, cabanas, a swimming pool and a hot tub. A spa with sauna, steam rooms and treatment rooms will be next to the pool.

Perhaps most unique is the wraparound rooftop amenities with panoramic views of the city skyline and Buffalo Bayou Park. Those features will include a gym, sundeck and "sky pool" that will be encased in glass and cantilever beyond the southern face of the building.

FAST Security had a large part of the design and build at this facility; we worked with the building engineers and designers to design a system that allows the tenants to move freely and securely around the property. There are several systems that seamlessly work together to control elevator access to your floor and intercom that allows your guest to talk to the concierge for access to the parking garage. FAST Security designed and installed the CCTV system along with the main building access control system for after hour’s entrance and exit to the facility. We at FAST Security pride ourselves with the design build effort that we apply to all our customers.

Working with FORE Property on this project was incredibly invigorating for the entire FAST Security team. We had a great time designing this project and the systems that were installed work great for the facility. We installed gate control, access control intercom, CCTV, Elevator control and WI-FI for the residents.

Halo House- Houston, TX

Thousands of people with leukemia or lymphoma travel to the Texas Medical Center every year for life-saving treatments to cure their cancer.  They come because care is unavailable locally, or their local treatments have failed.  Sadly, many of those people cannot stay in Houston to receive treatment because of the significant costs associated with short term housing.

Halo House’s mission is to help save the lives of cancer patients battling leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma by providing them with fully furnished temporary housing at a very low cost while they are undergoing active treatment for their cancer at the Texas Medical Center.
